Life is a workout. And all the world is a gym. The Stealth Workout is how I remain mindful of my health and fitness, even amidst the chaos and noise and distraction of a busy life. I’ve found “stealthy” ways to hack into the empty spaces of the day and fill them with quick exercises targeted specifically to improve my posture, balance, and overall state of mind. I can always find a moment of peace, and calm, and strength in any of my Stealth Moves.

There are many times throughout the day perfect for sneaking in some stealthy exercise. We are waiting in line at the post office, or Starbucks, or the dry cleaner. We are pumping gas, waiting for an elevator or a bus or train. Each of these moments is an opportunity to turn the world into your own personal gym. Even the dreaded commute can offer a quiet (or not) place to be mindful about your fitness, to focus on those tiny muscles that get little attention in the gym.
These Stealth Moves are little games I’ve developed to train myself to be more mindful about how I treat my body and move throughout my day. Little ways to make myself stronger, faster, more patient, and dare I say a better human.
It doesn’t have to be complicated. Skip the “diet” and just eat real, whole food. Buy the good stuff and cook it simply, and eat it. These are my favorite recipes, techniques, and routines. And some of my favorite things to consume.
